NSBL 2024 Most Improved - Matthew Tantillo

With many members across the club, Most Improved is normally a challenging award to select as there are so many worthy recipients. That said, Matthew Tantillo stood out in 2024 for a number of reasons.

Matthew, Grade 4, was an impact player for his Grade 3/4 team on a Sunday. He moved up to the Grades 5/6 competition and continued to be an influential player on and off the court.

Matthew often filled in for his brothers team in the Grades 7/8 competition, never backing down from the challenge.

He is a humble yet fiercly competitive young gentleman who has many successful seasons & years ahead of him. Well done Matthew!

NSBL 2024 Curnow Award - Cedric Conti

It was an absolute pleasure to present Cedric Conti with the NSBL 2024 Curnow Award, in recognition of his outstanding commitment to the club.

Cedric has been playing with the club for many years and is the epitome of a role model to all members in the club. He is currently training during the week and playing in his age groups competition AND the opens Adult competition.

Cedric had a scary moment late 2024 with an ankle injury and has bounced back with determination overcoming the physical and mental obstacles injuries present.

He excels at anything he puts his mind to and with all his effort he consistently makes his coaches and parents incredibly proud. Well done and thank you Cedric!

Congratulations to Matthew & Cedric, both are worthy award recipients.
