August 2024 Update

2024 so far:

10x teams in our Wednesday Night Adult Mixed Comp. 50x teams playing on a Sunday.

After School Sessions were maxed out in Term 1. During winter some spots opened up and now heading into spring we are seeing a surge in interest again.

Last of Term 3 sessions: Sunday Finals are on September 22nd

Last week of After School Sessions - Monday Sept 23rd to Thursday Sept 26th

October Holiday Camps: 3 days of camp at Covenant Christian School, Belrose.

Tues Oct 1st - Thurs Oct 3rd with limited spots available.

Term 4 Regos - opening soon. An email will be sent to existing members via our class4kids platform

Term 4 Program returns from Monday October 14th. Wednesday Night (Adult Comp) & Sunday Competition teams will be posted online in the first week of the term.

April 2024 Update

Term 1 2024: WHAT A START TO THE YEAR!

A record number of members for the club, over 850 members! 10x teams in our Adult Mixed Comp. 49x teams on a Sunday.

After School Sessions were maxed out.

April Holiday Camps: 3 days of camp at Covenant Christian School, Belrose.

Starting tomorrow (April 16th) with limited spots remaining.

Term 2 Program returns from Monday April 29th. Wednesday Night (Adult Comp) & Sunday Competition teams will be posted online in the first week of the term.

December Update

2023 wrap up: 2023 was another year of growth in NSBL, membership numbers reached a new high of 815 members. NSBL also faciliated a record number of Duke of Edinburgh volunteers throughout the year. The Sunday competition expanded to 48 teams across the day and all sessions maxed out with an ever-growing wait-list.

Thank you to all members who have signed up early for next term. There is no auto-enrolment for the Term 1 2024 program. Please visit www.nsbl.com.au to register. The return dates for Term 1 2024: Monday January 29th Tuesday January 30th Wednesday January 31st Thursday February 1st Sunday February 4th (games & team allocations updated to the website in late January)

A sincere thank you to our amazing NSBL coaches, all of whom have continued to show genuine interest, support and empathy of our club members. One of the clubs’ core focuses over the coming 12 months will be further developing our existing (and new) coaches skillset and knowledge base.

On a personal note, I would like to express my gratitude to all NSBL members. We have built a basketball community that we can all be proud of. The overall good sportsmanship, genuine care and teamwork displayed by all, keeps me motivated for the coming years ahead.
